No-Coding for Teens
Teenagers aspiring to create mobile games face significant hurdles due to the complexity of traditional game development tools like Unity and even Roblox. The steep learning curve and coding requirements deter many young enthusiasts from pursuing their passion for game design.
At Soba, we recognized the need to democratize game creation by making it accessible to teenagers without prior technical or coding knowledge. The way we allowed users to add logic to their games - The Behavior Editor had a lot of mapped issues (listed further down in this page) and we also noticed in our Discord community how many users struggled with the editor and had to heavily rely on support from others or would completely churn and give up.
